Buying a firearm online is simple, safe and completely legal!  There are only 3 simple steps.

1.) Shop the internet and find the gun you want.  Proceed through the checkout process.

2.) During checkout, "choose your FFL Dealer".  Xtra Guns is a preferred dealer for hundreds of online stores.  Simply find and click on Xtra Guns.  Finish checkout.

3.) Fill out the paperwork - ATF 4473 - and pick up your gun.

Purchasing a gun online is really, very easy.

Most online sellers have Xtra Guns FFL information already on file, if you're buying from one that doesn't, simply shoot us an email with your order # and other pertinent information.  Xtra Guns will provide our FFL License to facilitate shipment and transfer.

Make sure you get shipping information and tracking number from the selling dealer, Xtra Guns accepts no responsibility for tracking shipments, nor damage in transit.

We will contact you when the firearm is ready to be delivered to you.

You will be required to complete an ATF Form 4473. You must also provide state-issued identification showing your current address at the time you complete the Form 4473.

Upon successful completion of the background check and payment of transfer fees, the firearm will be transferred to you.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Xtra Guns will ship your purchases to other FFL dealers.

Xtra Guns is unable to process any transfer without proper documentation, as required by ATF, from the seller and Xtra Guns retains the right to return any firearm to the selling dealer at its sole discretion.

Please ensure that the selling FFL does not ship firearms or ammunition magazines that do not conform to Colorado law. Xtra Guns accepts no responsibility and has no provision for refunds or compensation for items that cannot be legally delivered. If these transfer procedures are not followed, an additional handling fee of $100.00 may be charged and/or the firearm may be returned to the seller at the sole expense of the buyer.
